Go Green Gaiter & Hat

Just right for outdoor sports, you can make this ribbed hat and neck warmer in about three hours. Options are given for stitching the hat either in the round or flat, in rows. This e-pattern was originally published in the November 2010 issue of Creative Knitting magazine.

Size: One size fits most adults. Made with bulky (chunky) weight yarn and size 10 1/2 (6.5mm) straight, 16" circular and double-pointed needles; if working hat flat, only straight needles are needed.
