Charted Picture Afghans |
Stitch easy picture afghans using only single and double crochet. Charted Picture Afghans uses the art of combining single crochet and double crochet stitches in order to create a picture. Each row is worked separately and fastened off at each row leaving a 12" length, which is used for the fringe.
These 5 afghans, each with a unique fringe, are all stitched using worsted-weight yarn. Easy-to-follow charts are included for each design including the alphabet for the monogram afghan, plus a Getting Started section that includes up-close pictures of working the single and double crochet stitches. Other afghans included are My Prayer, African Safari, Lost Shoe & Mittens and Quick & Easy Cables.
