While Nancy was contemplating a career change, a friend invited her over to "play" on her longarm quilting machine. While it may not have been "love at first stitch," Nancy definitely saw the possibilities. Within a few months she purchased a longarm quilting machine and started Masterpiece Quilting LLC in 2006. Since then her business as evolved to include longarm quilting services using both computerized and free motion patterns, along with custom made quilts, show quilts and pattern design. Alongside her passion for quilting, Nancy is also an avid antique collector. After attending a workshop on chalk painting, Nancy discovered a second love. Her business has now expanded to include chalky finish painting and selling furniture pieces.
