Kristine Poor is the owner of Poorhouse Quilt Designs. She started her company in September 2006, after designing her popular Sampler Tote as a gift for a family member. The tote was a hit and a pattern company was born! She has a degree in engineering and a love of fabric; these seemingly conflicting pursuits have come together. She works with Jean Johnson (her mom/pattern editor/sample maker/creative assistant) to develop patterns that are a canvas for the quilter's creativity. She is a published author and class instructor and is thrilled to be instructing her first Annie’s online video class.
